Meeting Location

General meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month in Jadwin Hall on the Princeton University campus. The Intermediate SIG meets before the general meeting at the same location.

Parking

The previous parking area, Lot 15 (on both sides of the Armory) is now closed. A new Chemistry building is being built there.

The university has recommended we use parking Lot 21, which is on the other side of the stadium past Jadwin Gym. This is an overflow lot with plenty of parking space.

The GPS coordinates for parking in the lot next to Jadwin stadium are: N 40 20' 40.7" W 74 38' 48.7" (format is degrees minutes seconds.)

Lot 20, on the other side of Washington Street, is also available. If you park there, use caution crossing the street and beware of oncoming traffic!

Whichever area you choose, please park only in designated areas that are authorized.

At the traffic light of the Washington Road and Faculty Road intersection, drive east on Faculty Road. Take the third entrance on your left (refer to the blue line on the map above) and pull into parking lot 21. Give yourself some extra time, as Jadwin Hall is a bit of a walk away.

Walk to the end of lot 21 (refer to the green line on the map above) and turn right onto the foot path. Weaver Track will appear on your left, and Princeton Stadium will soon appear just after the track. Walk up the stairs into the first stadium entrance. Walk to the left and follow the walkway around the stadium's edge. When you reach the other side of the stadium, exit through the first entrance. Jadwin Hall is now straight ahead.

Inside Jadwin Hall

Because Jadwin Hall itself is undergoing construction the front doors will be closed off. You may either:

Try this first:
Enter through the loading dock door (dashed green line on the map): Enter and you will be on level A, same as the meeting room. Walk straight ahead and follow the signs to room A10 (the auditorium.)

If the doors are locked, try this:
Enter through the courtyard door (solid green line on the map): Walk around from the the front of Jadwin Hall to its side. Walk straight ahead to the sculpture and turn left and walk into the courtyard. Turn left again at the inner sculpture and walk to the courtyard entryway doors. Once inside, you are on the first floor. Turn right and walk to the elevators. Take the elevator to A level. Exit the elevator, turn left and follow the signs to room A10 (the auditorium.)

Before the main meeting, the Intermediate SIG is held next door in room A9. The What and Where SIG meets in room A07 right next to the auditorium (A10.)
